PRP Therapy in Dubai
PRP — platelet-rich plasma — uses your own blood to support the skin and scalp. A small sample is drawn, the platelets are concentrated, and the plasma is re-applied or injected into the area being treated. Performed under DHA-licensed medical supervision at our Dubai clinic.

What it is
PRP Therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrate from your own blood — platelet-rich plasma — re-applied to the skin or scalp under medical supervision.
PRP is an autologous treatment — it uses your body's own bioactive components rather than any external product. A small sample of your blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets, resulting in platelet-rich plasma that is rich in growth factors.
That concentrated plasma is then re-introduced into the area being treated. On the skin it can be applied alongside microneedling or injected; on the scalp it is injected into areas of thinning to support follicular activity. The growth factors in PRP are intended to support the skin's own repair processes and to encourage stronger hair over a course of sessions, rather than to deliver an immediate change.
Because the material is prepared from your own blood, PRP is a minimally invasive procedure suited to people who prefer to work with their own biology. Your clinician confirms whether it is the right approach at consultation.

Who it's for
PRP is considered most often for early hair thinning or shedding and reduced scalp density, and on the skin for dullness, fine lines and uneven texture — including as recovery support alongside microneedling, for those who prefer an autologous, additive-free treatment.
PRP is typically planned as a short course rather than a single visit, and is often combined with other treatments. Your clinician assesses your skin or scalp and confirms suitability before any treatment begins.
- Hair thinning and reduced density
- Dull or tired-looking skin
- Fine lines
- Uneven skin texture and scarring
- Recovery alongside microneedling
Who it’s not for
A few situations mean it’s better to wait, or to choose a different treatment:
- Blood disorders or low platelet count
- Blood-thinning medication
- Active infection in the treatment area
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
This isn’t exhaustive, and none of it rules you out on its own — your clinician confirms suitability at consultation.
What to expect
- 01
Blood draw & processing
A small sample of your blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets into platelet-rich plasma.
- 02
Prepare the area
The skin or scalp is cleansed and prepared so the plasma can be applied or injected accurately.
- 03
Re-apply & recover
The concentrated plasma is re-introduced into the treated area. There is little to no downtime, and most people resume normal activities the same day.
Physician note
On PRP Therapy
I treat PRP as a measured, biology-led option rather than a quick fix. Because we are working with your own platelets, results build gradually over a planned course, and we set expectations clearly at consultation. I find it suits people who want to support the skin or scalp without introducing anything synthetic — and I will say so honestly when another treatment is likely to serve you better.
