What it is
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive skin treatment that delivers a customised blend of vitamins, amino acids and hyaluronic acid into the upper layer of the skin or scalp through a series of fine micro-injections.
Because the actives are placed directly into the tissue rather than applied to the surface, they reach the area that needs them without passing through the digestive system first.
On the face, mesotherapy is used to support hydration, tone and texture and to address concerns such as fine lines, pigmentation and dark circles. The same micro-injection approach can also be directed at the scalp, where the formulation is adjusted to support follicle health as part of a wider hair programme. Each formulation is matched to your skin assessment and the injections are placed by experienced clinicians.
Every treatment at Shookra is medically supervised and carried out under doctor-led clinical protocols, using clinically approved ingredients in a private, controlled setting. The right number of sessions depends on your skin and your goals, and is confirmed at consultation.

Who it's for
Mesotherapy is often considered for uneven texture, early signs of skin ageing, and tired-looking or dehydrated skin, as well as fine lines, pigmentation and dark circles.
Mesotherapy supports skin hydration, nutrient delivery and cellular activity, helping improve tone, texture and overall skin vitality while maintaining a natural appearance. The formulation is adapted to your concerns, and your clinician confirms suitability at consultation.
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Dehydrated skin
- Skin tone and texture
- Fine lines
- Hair thinning
Who it’s not for
A few situations mean it’s better to wait, or to choose a different treatment:
- Active skin infection, inflammation or open lesions in the treatment area
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Known allergy to any of the injected ingredients
- Bleeding disorders or use of blood-thinning medication
This isn’t exhaustive, and none of it rules you out on its own — your clinician confirms suitability at consultation.
What to expect
- 01
Consultation & formulation
Your clinician reviews your skin concerns and goals, then matches a nutrient formulation to what your skin needs.
- 02
Micro-injections
The blend is delivered through a series of fine, precise micro-injections into the superficial skin. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable.
- 03
Aftercare & follow-up
Any mild redness usually settles quickly. We agree a treatment rhythm and follow-up at your visit to support your results over time.
Physician note
On Mesotherapy
I think of mesotherapy as targeted skin nutrition rather than a single dramatic intervention — the value is in placing the right actives in the right layer and in being consistent. I assess each patient first, choose the formulation to match the concern, and keep the protocol conservative so the result reads as healthy, well-cared-for skin rather than anything obvious.
