Facelift Surgery in Dubai
A facelift addresses the structure of the lower face and neck, not the surface of the skin, so the assessment matters as much as the surgery. At Shookra, a facelift starts with a specialist consultation: we assess what is causing the change you see and what is realistic for your anatomy before anything is planned.

What Is Facelift?
A facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that lifts and repositions the deeper tissues of the lower face and neck to address sagging, jowls and laxity.
A facelift is surgery to lift and reposition the deeper tissues of the lower face and neck. It addresses sagging, jowls, loss of jawline definition and laxity in the neck — the changes that come from tissues shifting and loosening over time.
It is a procedure aimed at laxity and sagging structure. It does not treat skin surface quality, pigment or volume loss on its own; the assessment separates what a facelift can address from concerns that are better suited to other approaches.
At Shookra this is a consultation-led pathway: our specialists assess your goals and plan your options with you. We will set out how the procedure would be carried out, and by whom, as part of that conversation.

Who Is Facelift For?
A facelift is usually considered by people who notice sagging in the lower face, jowls forming along the jawline, or loose skin and bands in the neck — changes rooted in the underlying tissue rather than the skin surface alone.
Suitability depends on your anatomy, skin quality, general health and how realistic your goals are, all of which the specialist reviews at consultation. Where a non-surgical option is a better fit, we will say so.
- Sagging in the lower face and jowls
- Loss of jawline definition
- Loose skin and bands in the neck
- Folds that deepen with time
Who it’s not for
A few situations mean it’s better to wait, or to choose a different treatment:
- Some uncontrolled medical conditions or medicines that affect healing or bleeding
- Factors that affect skin healing, which the specialist reviews before any plan
- Goals that surgery realistically cannot meet — discussed honestly at consultation
This isn’t exhaustive, and none of it rules you out on its own — your clinician confirms suitability at consultation.
What to Expect from Facelift
- 01
Consultation & assessment
A specialist assesses your lower face and neck, listens to what you want to change, and talks through what is realistic for your anatomy.
- 02
Your options, explained
You leave understanding the routes available — surgical and, where relevant, non-surgical — with an honest view of what each can and cannot address.
- 03
Planning your route
If you choose to proceed, the plan — what the procedure involves, the recovery and the risks, and how it would be carried out — is set out before any decision is made.
Meet Your Practitioner
On Facelift
A facelift rewards patience at the front end. The consultation is where we work out what is actually driving the change you see — laxity, jowls, the neck — and where a good specialist will be honest about what surgery can and cannot address. I would rather you leave a first meeting with a clear, realistic picture than a booking; that is the point of a consultation-led approach.
